Quick card

Good morning!

This is just a quick card I whipped up using just stamps. I haven't done that for a very long time and forgot how much I enjoy it. I spotted a 90 minute challenge on Facebook yesterday sponsored by Hero Arts. The challenge was to take the small elements from one of their stamp sets and use it as the focal point of a card. It was really a fun challenge!

I stamped on a white card base and then colored in with CTMH watercolor pencils. I stamped the flowers on a separate scrap, colored them and then trimmed around them in order to give the card some dimension. I did the same with the butterfly at the top. I matted this on a small piece of light purple cardstock and then attached it with pop dots to my darker dotted purple card base. I finished it off with some bakers twine.

Supplies:

Hero Arts Woodland Creatures stamp set
CTMH Watercolor Pencils
CTMH Black stamp pad
White cardstock
Light purple cardstock
Bazill Dotted Swiss purple cardstock
Bakers twine
Pop Dots
